Amazing!!! The photograph looks as if it was taken yesterday.
I wish you also did boat restoration.
See you on the bay.

The photo of a vintage Chris Craft speedboat racing across Long Island Sound was affected by chemical deterioration from improper photo processing, and was additionally covered by ink spots and numerous scratches. Damaged areas were retouched and realistic water was added to recover the historic significance of this 1920s photo. |

I just felt compelled to write to you and let you know what a great experience working with you and your company was.
I have a Navy Commission letter signed by President Lincoln. It is on velum which from what I understand is a difficult thing to work with. Needless to say it had seen its better days. I purchased it in a broken frame and glass with a ton of wrinkles in it.
I contacted several different companies, sent photos and my explaination of what I wished done. No one would touch it.
I came to you and you were more than willing to work with me. I can't say enough of how pleased I am with your performance in this.
It's not easy to trust someone you've never met with thousands of dollars worth of documents however you put me at ease and the final product was excellent.
Thanks again.
Sincerly

A Civil War US Navy Captains Commission signed by President Lincoln was sent to our studio in dire need of restoration. The document was mounted in a cheap frame with broken glass and over the years the velum on which document was printed and written became warped and infested by mold and mildew.
After careful removal from the frame, the document was deacidified and cleaned to prevent any further chemical deterioration and infestation. The appearance of stains was reduced as much as possible with particular attention given to preservation of President Lincolns' signature. Following careful flattening of the document it was mounted on archival board with mylar corners, covered with a custom cut mat and framed in an elegant black gallery molding. |

What a wonderful job Preserve Your Past has done on the restoration of the 110 year old certificate we recently located in our family archives. The certificate was signed by future US President Theodore Roosevelt when he was Commissioner of the New York City Police Department. The purpose of the certificate was to appoint our ancestor as member of the Department.
In 1897, our ancestor was a recent immigrant to the United States. The certificate was torn, faded, darkened and carried just about every impediment to legibility which one could imagine. However, Preserve Your Past proceeded diligently and with care to rejuvenate this 1897 document into nearly good as new condition. It was a pleasure to work with experts at Preserve Your Past.
Very truly yours,

Just a quick note of thanks and appreciation to let you know my document arrived back to me safely and soundly.
I am extremely pleased with the result, and I wanted to acknowledge my complete satisfaction with your service and the end product.
I've recommended your services to other friends in the space collecting hobby.
All the best,
Richard
One of the few official NASA documents that were flown to the Moon on board of Apollo 12 mission and signed by Lunar Module Pilot Alan L. Bean. Over the years this document printed on extremely thin velum which was treated and sterilized by NASA prior to the mission launch, began to display slight warping of the surface, exhibited minor tears and showed signs of discoloration. The document was carefully cleaned and deacidfied to prevent further chemical deterioration. The tears were patched with an archival pH neutral compound and was flattened to reduce the appearance of warping. |

When I did an internet search for a business that could restore and archive our company's historical documents, Preserve Your Past stood out with their charming website. After several projects which included restoration of a priceless sketch of our founder, I would recommend them to business associates and friends. They completed archived documents, photos, letters, advertisements, catalogs and news clippings that we saved over the years of our company's existence. We no longer have fear of losing the records of our past because of their excellent preservation work.

I'm sure you must receive lots of great feedback on your work and I'm pleased to add my best wishes. You did an amazing job on the print of my Mother -- it's hard to believe it's the same picture when you see how damaged the original was from being laminated and covered with scotch tape! Thank you Preserve Your Past -- I wish you continued success!

My Grandmother loved the picture. Her friends could not attend the anniversary but having their picture made her feel that they were there.

I highly recommend Preserve Your Past for all of your photography needs for their professionalism, skill, and reasonable pricing. After searching all of New York City for a photography lab that could do a colorization project, I came across Preserve Your Past. Despite my initial uncertainty about exactly what I wanted in terms of a final project, Titus really worked with me until I was satisfied, and the end result was fantastic. The colorized photos of my boyfriend's niece are hanging on his wall, and all of his family members are begging for copies!

My husband and I had rummaged through our parent's collections of old family photos... most of which had not seen the light of day in 50-120 years. Some where in such disrepair that we were afraid to move, or even touch them. We brought them to Preserve Your Past and Titus was able to restore them beyond anything we had expected. By looking at the photographs now, you would never know they had ever been in such poor shape. If it was not for Preserve Your Past these pictures would probably be in boxes for another 100 years instead of being displayed in our home. Each and every day we enjoy seeing the faces of our ancestors surrounding us. These faces may very well have been forgotten without Preserve Your Past!
Thank you!
