RESTORATION OF HISTORICAL PHOTOGRAPH OF NEW YORK CITY
The view of New York's City Hall was captured in 1885 on the day of President Ulysses S. Grant's funeral. With the building draped in black and the flags lowered, the funeral procession can be seen coming down the steps of the building.
The photograph was scanned at high resolution and the image was digitally restored to bring back the richness of details. After the restoration was completed a print was made using high quality ink jet photo paper. It was to be framed and displayed as part of the historical photographic collections of one of New York's most prestigious social clubs. |
