RESTORATION OF ANTIQUE PANORAMIC PHOTOGRAPH

restoration of early panoramic view of lower ManhattanAn extremely rare 1899 panoramic view of lower Manhattan measuring over three feet across became unevenly faded and discolored with age.

The photograph was duplicated using a large format camera equipped with a high resolution digital scan back and a German made Schneider flat field lens. After careful retouching and restoration, the photograph was printed on wide format archival paper.
